Ethan and Katherine // Post by Melissa
Ethan and Katherine's engagement session this past summer in the garden's at Hill Valley Cafe. This location was perfect for their love of gardening and being outside. As we adventured around the location we found a lot of great spots to surround them in their habitat.
Tyler and Dani // Post by Maggie
Dani is a great friend of mine, and I am so happy to see her with such a great guy like Tyler. We explored the woods of Andover, MN and naturally got lost in the beauty of the fall day, and forgot how to get back to the car. It was a day worth remembering, and I'm happy to have spent it with Tyler and Dani.
Winter Engagement Session // Post by Bryan
Winter engagement sessions are here! As the winter might force most people to take photos inside that wasn't the case for this couple. They enjoyed taking it outside to have some fun in the snow, and it made for a great session. Love when people embrace the weather , and have fun with whatever nature throws at us.

5 Steps How to Write Vows
Photo by: Rivets and Roses Photographer Jackson Faith
Here are 5 steps on how to write vows on your wedding day:
1. Think about your relationship.
How did it all start? Think about how you felt when you first met and fell in love with each other.
2. One-two promises.
Promises are important when writing your vows. Think about some specific promises you know you can make that are unique to your relationship.
3. Set a tone.
Poetic and humorous is a good mix, and stay true to who you are. Either way you go make sure to add in the romance.
4. Let it all out.
What about them inspires you, and how has life gotten better after finding each other? Affirm your love, and admiration for your partner. Let it all out!
5. One-two minutes!
Pick a few main points that are most meaningful to you. If you feel like you want to say more send a card to you partner with a gift earlier in the day of your wedding day.
North Shore Getaway // Post by Thea
A North Shore getaway in October is usually best for those that enjoy hiking, brisk weather, and outdoor bonfires. That is my husband. That is not me. But, I've found a retreat along the cold Lake Superior shoreline that suits us both. The Seagull House. The breath taking views and this time of year are perfect for North Shore weddings.
Heading into the Weekend // Post by Thea
I LOVE this weather. Bring the weekend on! For a fun share today, I will send you over to The American Edit. This blog is written by local girl Rita Mehta. It has quickly become the go to for finding quality, stylish American made fashions. For a short time, you can see some of my work on her homepage. I shot Baldwin's Kansas City store for TAE earlier this summer. So, if you are looking for some good Fall denim, check this story out!
