On May 19th, an auction house in Chicago will offer an important piece of Minnesota's architectural history for sale to the public - Frank Gehry's Winton House. Our photographer Thea, was lucky to be called upon to document the house in its current home near Owatonna, MN. If you have a few minutes, read up on the history here, http://www.wright20.com/pages/gehry.

Hop on over to see a range of work by artists that the Walker is featuring as a type of fabric of Minnesota design. Our photographer, Thea has a small byline. She shot the piece titled 'After U.R. Corporate Party// Twirl Events // Post by Thea Volk
Local event planner Gretchen, from Twirl Events, created a jazzy Speakeasy-esque fete for a local capital management company looking to treat their employees. The Nicolette Island Pavilion was transformed into a dark and spotlit club, fit with a cocktail bar, wine and beer tastings, and a build-your-own mashed potato buffet.
Minnesota Wedding Locations // Team Post
Our team is honored every year to photograph in the best wedding venues. These Minnesota wedding locations sculpt our city, and attract bride and grooms to have their weddings at these venues to embrace the style of their wedding. With all the options that our state offers, these are a few of our favorite wedding locations that we have been to.

Getting Into The Dress // Team Post
That moment when a bride gets into the dress is a significant part of the wedding day coverage that our team photographs. These photos show the intimate moments between the bride and all the people who are there to help them get into the dress, and how important it is to have them there to help.

A Look Back at 2014 // Post by Thea
Happy New Year! As I look back at 2014, I see a life filled with happy occasions. There was a new baby, a rambunctious toddler, a handsome husband, and loads of supportive friends and clients.
Okay, so there was also spit up on everything, tantrums at Target, sleeplessness, and epically cold weather. But, really, who cares about all that.
Thank you to all of you that made the year sweet. Below are a few of my favorite photos from 2014 or, what I could gather to write this post before Annika wakes from her nap.
Best Moment of the Year // Post by Thea
Best Moment of the year was from my most recent wedding of this lovely bride and groom cutting the cake with a sparkler on top!
2 Year Old Portraits // Post by Thea
